Re: Maximum number of challenges meet in one game [SPOILER]
I have to say, no other thread in this forum makes me want to stop playing like this one does. I mean, if it seems that easy, then the game must not be worth playing. I'm pretty far along, but I don't think I'm going to finish this game now. I suppose that's a good thing; I need to get back to my re...

Re: Guilty and redemption
I was excited to learn about his trick, until I discover that it doesn't always work. Guards, yeah, but shopkeepers, probably not. I have a shopkeeper that mysteriously went hostile on me (no idea why), but is too powerful to be affected by charm, even at level 6. <sigh> I guess I won't be doing any...

The thread starter said, "All skills but one have books available". Slarty, is this still true? You never corrected your statement.

Re: [EDIT[Possible Glitch] Port Kuudad - Guard won't let you
Well, two wrongs will make a right in this case. You should not have shown the guard the writ and caused the gate to be closed, but since you did, you'd just have to open it again illegally, like you did the first time (I assume with a potion of invisibility). * You open * Guard closes * You open ag...

Why didn't I think of this? This is so much faster than trudging back up the dungeon.

Re: Selling expensive items, where?
At least make it so that the shop owner will offer to buy the item for whatever amount of gold he has left ("Yeah I know it's worth 10K, but I only have 10 gold. Take it or leave it."). It's weird that you can't sell it at all, even if you're willing to sell it for cheap.

Re: Purchased Item Durability
Really? You're lucky. You get what you pay for, and the more broken the item is, the cheaper it is. If you have decent Repair level, and you should, from the trainer, then it's a good deal.Drixx wrote: Secondly, why does every item I buy from a blacksmith come to me in nearly broken condition?

Re: Goliath Boreheads Quest
I kept track, but it turned out to be unnecessary. The last one you kill will drop the petrified wood. I had previously thought that any of those beasts could drop it, but the game apparently won't give it to you till you kill the last one. The one at the mage tower was actually the first one I kill...

Re: Imbuing the Warmoth bow
Oh, I misunderstood. You, I think, can imbue it with either to hit or damage, but if it won't let you. Guess not. Shrug. Perhaps, it's because it is 'named'? I thought that in one of your earlier posts, you established the rule for enchanting, which I've found to be accurate. An item can have only ...

Oh yeah. I forgot about the lantern. Is there anything else we can do with Alchemy that's not on this list of recipes?

Re: Butchering Sparrow
I encountered a nasty bug/feature with this. When she died, she dropped something, but I couldn't pick it up. It turned out she was standing close to the south wall, so her loot landed where the torch outside would be, 2D-wise. So when I hovered the mouse over, I kept highlighting the outer wall tor...

Re: List of recipes and reagents.
Are you asking what the useless reagents are, or which recipes I would like to see added? If the former, I can think of a couple: cotton wick, and toadis something (I forget the exact name).

Re: List of recipes and reagents.
Did you notice that there are many reagents that are not part of any recipe? I wonder if the expansion will add some more recipes.

Re: Bug & Error Compendium nr. 2
Resistant armors don't work. The description says "+10 All Resistance", but when I equip the item, none of my resistances changes.
