Good to see you are still alive and kicking.
I'm actually quite happy that the new game will be isometric, as I have always preferred that perspective.

Re: A tiny update
Wandered in here hoping for an update, and was pleasantly surprised with talk of yet another RPG.
Made my day.

Re: Your First Character Playing Book III?
I can't believe the no one is going for the thief/rogue build. It's my favourite.
Although I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to pull off a "jack-of-all-trades" type character this time around. God knows it proved a challenge with Book II.

I was almost about to resurrect that thread until I saw this one.Lord_P wrote:The wishlist posted by geishaboy is WAAAY old and instead of bumping dormant threads I decided to make a new one.
Anyways for the love of cake, make the map/level/game editor open to translation.

Re: Theyrin - an indie RPG (WIP)
I can already tell that I would like the interface
I also like the premise. Flooded with lot's of islands? I'm guessing this is post global warming or something?

Re: Is it possible to translate english to korean?
Geishaboy, Most freeware fonts are for "non-commercial use only." Legally speaking, he can't just stick one in without opening himself up to problems that require lawyers. That just raises the cost of everything and would really delay the announcement on Book III. ;-) Figures. It's a sham...

Re: Is it possible to translate english to korean?
If I knew I could recoup the cost, I would have it professionally translated. However, it is very costly to have a professional localization service translate your product. I probably just need to gamble it and have the game professionally translated, and see how many copies it sells. Did I forget ...

Re: Willow Bark?
Yep.
I found willow bark to be really hard to find in the first half od the game. I would reccomend pumping your forage skill up a bit more. I think that certain areas yeild certain items, but I'm not 100% sure.

Re: Is it possible to translate english to korean?
I wanted to translate both book I and II into Japanese but the game engine doesn't like east asian characters, I imagine this includes Korean. I'm not feeling too hopefull for book III either So many western pc games were launched in korea. But just a little bit games released with korean language....
