1024x768 is minimum.
1280x1024 would be great for most ~19" LCD users - for me (CRT user) it doesn't matter as long as my 8800gts will be up with it.

I would say #1 but I'm not sure. I need time to think about it. It would be nice to see a co-op in Book II, but a party based singleplayer in Eschalon, err? Maybe. But then the fighting system should be replaced with a new one. What do you think about adding an action points based on speed and/or ot...

The bow skill would be kinda useful for a warrior, although it takes some points to train it and I don't know how high ToHit ratio on the first level of skill is. I've spent much time on rolling and I after some time rolled an interesting stats - 18/17/18/17/14/14/11/14. So my concentration isn't to...

Re: Wish List for Book II?
please give us the choice of sex, at least Male/Female. As far as I know it's impossible, becouse Book II will be sequel to Book I. I mean - second part will begin, where first has ended, so it would be strange if character would have changed his gender [ugh, don't know if I wrote it well]. My requ...

it would be perfectly at home on retail shelves if it wasn’t for the fact that 2D games have been long abandoned. Oww... Well, it's true but personally I think that the best RPG games was in 2D. I don't like those 3D RPGs like Witcher, Neverwinter Nights or whatever. Look at Ultima, Baldur's Gate...

Breaking some NPC's out of Jail would be cool too. For some reason I enjoyed getting thrown in Jail while playing the Ultima games...maybe I have an evil side somewhere in there.. Ultima Online jails, that's it :). On the server, on which i played, we had a 'work camp' instead of jail. If y...

No problem Vennor! The issue really comes down to development resources. I often point to Fallout's credit listing...there were 100+ people on that game and probably 3-5 million dollars of development cost. Basilisk Games has barely a fraction of those kinds of resources. We'll see where the ...

This is really a question about game design in general.... A town with many people would appear realistic, but what purpose does it serve in the game? In a town of 200 people, not everyone can have a quest or an important piece of information, right? So to fully populate a town, that would make for...
