Re: True Healer

It's going to be really hard keeping to the True Healer challenge in the final battle. I haven't seen many victory screens with the True Healer challenge met, but I know of this one: http://basiliskgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=9031#p54794 , and the player explains in the post quite well...

Re: making money?

Strange, I was always hoarding the bittercup seeds and wild cabbage with only 1 or 2 points in Foraging. Malachi's Gruel and Draw Water I'm always putting up for sale as soon as I find them. Then still I need to sell food every so often because of weight issues. But I don't camp, that should make a ...

Re: making money?

I think your ideas weren't bad, but they won't work well within Book III, due to mechanics that aren't explained anywhere in the game. Foraging only gives you food and water until your Foraging skill is quite high (12? mid teens? I don't even know), only then you'll start to find reagents. And your ...

Re: Semi-official bug tracking thread (SPOILERS)

Maybe you are a shortcut-addict, Xolotl, and I'm the opposite; if I see an icon on the screen I'll never learn about the corresponding shortcut key. I'm always using the 4th icon in the row of icons just under the adventure map, that's you character sheet. At least I am assuming you forgot about its...

Re: Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall

Marketing-wise they'd be smart to make this work standalone, to make it more attractive to people to try. Having to buy both SRR and the Dragonfall campaign to play Dragonfall will probably turn off a lot of folks. Yes, I would have snapped this up if it was stand-alone. I'm not really into urban a...

Steampunk dungeon crawler, first person, single character, real-time, very early development, reminds of Legend of Grimrock. http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp164/Hynsterider/Vapor_zpsc4ef3947.jpg~original This is a teaser video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F1s0sEk1QE , and this is a blog the...

Re: Eschalon Trilogy Post-Mortem

I doubt it has much to do with what you grew up with whether you're going to like a game like Eschalon or not. I purchased my first computer in 2006 and then knew nothing about computer games. Getting into Eschalon Book I wasn't nostalgia for me. With me it's like with films; big budgets and special...

Re: Damage Resistance and Weapons

Why didn't you ask Seamus for a bludgeoning weapon? I thought he could make any kind of weapon, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't buy a better weapon, something better will come along, but personally I've always preferred to fight with a cheap weapon anyway, since the costs to maintain a weapon are r...

I know this is kind of a necro... It's not. You're keeping us updated. And for me it's completely new, so I'm glad you posted. I'm not sure if it's my kind of game, but I do appreciate forum members posting about games that interest them. I find it especially helpful if forum members post here if t...

Re: Im a bit confused

I've got the impression VDK has already been down in the Emayu witch lair, but can't get through there at some point. How many machine parts have you got, VDK? Have you solved the chest puzzle in Baizel's hut? Definitely when you have 4 machine parts gathered - and you would if you have explored all...

You missed a trainer. Madam Gilda teaches Medicine, Meditation and Alchemy.
The mechanics are exactly the same as in Book II.

Re: enemies poisoned multiple times has the opposite effect

It's safe to say that's a bug.

Maybe it's okay that poisoning isn't accumulative, it would be much stronger than the other extra damage perks otherwise, but the messages are wrong.

Re: Baptism in Fire glitch? (Spoilers)

BasiliskWrangler did deliberately create 2 ways to get to Old Moonrise; incase you can't find a Sigil of Fire (which is unlikely, as there are quite a few around) you can still get in by turning the headstone. You can get to the cemetery by lock picking or by demolishing a fence near Kirk and walk a...
