Re: Kingdoms & Castles
There are some YouTube vids about this game, no pause button there yet, but it would be odd if they left it without. I do like the graphics of this game, simple can be pleasing. I just dislike manga-style cartoonish. If the game comes out it would be great if you would share your experiences, Leezar...

Re: Sorry- I'm back
Normally if I see a lot of spam appearing on some game forum I see it as a good sign, I'm thinking, 'they must be working hard on the game'. In this case... urm, cough... Anyway, I might as well send you some spam... err, I mean greetings from my rowing boat. I happened to catch myself on tel...
Re: Balrum
Okay, thanks for the update, let us know what you think. This game was on my radar, but just now I'm not managing to put down Thea: The Awakening. My initial concern with Balrum was that maybe with all the farming and crafting there can be too many things to keep an eye on. It looks like a game that...

Thea: The Awakening
This game is out for a while, but I just picked it up on GOG, it's great! Since I think more people may have missed this game I'll give it a recommendation here. It is an RPG in a fantasy setting, it is turn-based, but it's also got randomly generated worlds, it's almost a 4X - just expanding with e...

Re: The New Bard's Tale
If you happen to know of a game where they can still use a beta tester I'd be up for it, as I have some time on my hands. The last half year I've spent travelling, without a computer, so I haven't been good at keeping up with the latest news on upcoming games, but I've ended the travelling bit now. ...

Re: The King Of Old Here?
I don't think with card games or dominoes people ever raised the question of being too old for a game.

Re: Prismatic Maelstrom Banned
Mod tools can help sell a game, so you want them at release, together with the game. For more than one reason you want them part of the design from the start. My first ever post in this forum was about game editors, a good game editor can be a big thing for me. I know a few recent games that have tr...

Can we bring Jedi Learner back? Yeah, JL/PM was a great forum member, but frustration seemed to get hold of him more and more. He could make valid points, but if you add so much acid when bringing them forward as he did on occasion it can become rather exhausting. BasiliskWrangler was mostly ...

Re: widgets
The 4 widgets are for 4 gates, and there are no other conditions than to use the right widget for the right gate. If I remember right, at each gate there's a plaque on the wall with a picture of the widget to use there. You must manually put a widget from your inventory in a slot, a dialogue window ...

Re: Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall
I think I saw a combined deal on Steam recently, but I don't recall the discount. I do; it was 66% off the first one, 33% off Dragonfall. Not a combined deal, but still the kind of thing I was waiting for. I snapped up the first one. I still have to play it, though, I'm only playing Age of Wonders ...

Re: Eschalon Trilogy Post-Mortem
I regret promising three games from the start. I should have switched over to a new engine after Book II and made a different game, and only now be starting on Book III with a fresh engine. I am sorry to all you hardcore fans that I did not do this- it would have been a great way to end the trilogy...

Re: Is there a way to tweak the item degradation settings?
It's fine from a real life point of view, but the opening poster used the words 'boring' and 'playstyle I don't like'. It can become a bit much indeed to have to run back to the smithy after dealing with every other enemy, or having to carry 3 or 4 weapons. It interrupts the flow of play, adds a rep...
