Re: kickstarter

If the combat system is complex I far prefer a party in a TB game. A party allows for a lot more tactical options and tactical TB combat is what I like best in gaming. That said I still enjoy single character TB RPG's such as Eschalon.

Re: What I've kicked in on Kickstarter for, so far...

I've spread about $1000 over a dozen different projects. I certainly don't expect them all to make good games, but if even a couple are successful its better than what I had before Kickstarter. I don't care for first person/third person RT action games and that is all the AAA RPG companies are makin...

Re: Grimoire IndieGoGo Campaign goes LIVE!

From the amount of material posted on Youtube the game obviously exists and is closer to being done than most crowd funded games. I think Cleve just needs some sort of externally imposed deadline to actually finish something. Whatever the case I'm more than happy to gamble a few bucks on the chance ...

Re: Unique Item Suggestions

I do like the thought of something for the unarmed character. To avoid the lunacy of bronze brass knuckles, how about a bronze cestus?

Worked on beta for book I then waited and beta for book II. And again I'm waiting to work on Book III. I'm a very a patient person. You just can't hear me bit...

Re: Baldur's Gate

As far as the PC goes it doesn't seem to me that any of the new stuff is any improvement over the BG mods I have played over the years.

I do like the thought of being able to play BG on the IPAD. If they do a good job on the IPAD port I'll get it.

Re: Drox Operative Game

Thanks DL that was exactly what I needed to know. It sounds like I might be able to handle the movement/combat so I will give it a try.

Re: Drox Operative Game

Let me know what the combat controls are like. If you have to control movement/camera with one hand and hit multiple buttons quickly with the other hand its not a game for me.

Re: Drox Operative Game

I would like to know what the real time combat is like. Is it like Diablo....point and click using one hand? I'm not good with two-handed RT combat.

(I'm 55 yrs old by the way)

Re: Dead State

Some of the Iron Tower guys (Artist, programmer, modeler) are working on both Age of Decadence and Dead State. Which makes sense since Dead State is using the game engine that the ITS guys put together for AoD.

Dead State

As always I'm on the lookout for TB RPGs. Here is another Kickstarter project. It is being made by Brian Mitsoda who has worked at BlackIsle, Troika and Obsidian. The game has been in production for awhile and they more to show than some Kickstarter projects I have backed. http://www.kickstarter.com...

Re: Divinity - Original Sin

This looks good. I liked the original Divine Divinity a lot, even though I'm not a fan of diablo style combat. I didn't play Div2 because they switched to OTS view with WASD movement controls. Isometric view with TB combat and a party is by far my favorite game style and is hard to find these days.....

Re: Where is the screenies?

I'd rather see one blurry image of a loading screen than nothing at all. Its nice to have some evidence that BW and EB3 are both still alive.
