It's out and I've got it. Now I just have to wait to get off work to give it a try.

Price is TBA but "in line with other indie RPGs". By which I assume $20.00 to $30.00.

The most recent posts on Jay's website indicate the game will be released next Wednesday if things go as planned. I'll try to post some first impressions if I have time to play before I go on vacation.

Its just a different style. I like the way Vince does interviews and his approach to forum debate is pretty much the same. He is a "master of internet debate" if you know what I mean, but he also will take good advice when it is given.

How about being able to set traps? I was playing around with powder kegs last night and they add some good tactical choices, but are rare and are often overkill. Leghold traps and some smaller explosive devices would be a good subtle alternative to the heavy handed mage and fighter approaches.

I've reached a point where I just don't trust AAA games enough to anticipate them.
