Re: Where to rest
Down in the sewers in the Assassin hideout is a good place if you do not mind being attacked by shadow assassins and assassins throwing knives.

Re: Q on Armour Rating
If you do not have the necessary skill with the armor or weapon you will be assessed a penalty. Example if you never wore armor before it will seem very unnatural to you. Training and experience allow you to raise your capability. If you never used a sword you would have trouble using it effectively...

Re: couple beginner questions
I can only assume it was a design decision by BW. Because he was able to implement the deterioration of armor and weapons. I assume a similar variable could be assigned for the fragility of an object. Weapons and amor in a chest would be less likely to break than anything in glass. Freeaxe is correc...

If your weapons and armor do not deteriorate there is nothing to repair.

Re: couple beginner questions
The level cap for Book I was set at 21. Nice to see that the level cap for Book II is 31.
Does bashing destroy any of the contents within the chest? Since I usually take the Pick Lock skill or Lock melt (if a mage) I do not bash.

Re: Mechanics of Book II
Yes you can get attacked when you camp. I got attacked camping right outside of town by a dragonel. You will also be awaken by any creature that comes within the camp area. If your hunger or thrist meter is too low you will be awaken by either hunger or thrist pains. I like the fact that one of the ...

Re: Initial Impression
The foraging skill has the side benefit of finding reagents which can be sold for money which can be used to buy food etc. Also as CrazyBernie said as you increase the foraging skill you will slow the downward progress of the hunger and thrist bars. The skill allows you to live off the land. You do ...

Re: Clash of the Titans, Lilith @ Darkford.
The Olympians (Zesus and others) were the children of the Titans. The Olympians warred with their parents. The Olympians defeated the Titans by creating and releasing the Kraken upon them. The title is really a misuse of Titans. But what sounds more interesting The re-invented Story of Perseus or Cl...

Re: Dungeon Siege 2: Broken World Expansion Pack
If you enjoyed Dungeon Siege 2, then the Broken World is more of the same. Not a bad expansion. If it is two dollars at Amazon it is not a bad investment.

Re: Who's getting Dragon Age?
I will not fault EA, Bioware or any one else for giving people what they want. DLC seems to be what people want. The point is that you do not have to buy the DLC. Dragon Age plays fine without it. DLC is a way to expand or add to the game world without having to create a new game or large expansion....

Re: Who's getting Dragon Age?
The combat is challenging even on easy difficulty. If you are having real trouble with a boss or combat situation you may want to switch to easy. But do not expect combat to be a cakewalk even on easy.

Re: Who's getting Dragon Age?
There is a patch 1.01a that is suppose to reduce the difficulty level in the game. Also the toolset has been released. The patch is 13MB and the toolset weighs in at 472MB. I have not patch my game yet. So I cannot comment on the new difficulty.
