The first Deus Ex is probably one of the great instances of multiple paths through a story, allowing the player to really approach the challenges as s/he wants and being rewarded with each choice. While Invisible War wasn't on par with DX1, I did still enjoy it quite a lot, I don't believe it deser...

Yeh, but when you cross develop a game, the outcome isn't that pretty.
Especially with RPGs, there are so many limitations - like the dialog system in ES4, and the games interface and so on...

Fallout 3 - R.I.P

For those of you who haven't seen it yet - 'No Mutants Allowed' has posted up a video of Black Isles original build of Fallout 3, before it was even completed then scrapped along with the game license being sold to Bethesda - shortly after they went bankrupt. Rumors say that Beth are recreating the ...

Yeah, it's a definite no for Book I because we are just too far along in development. But please ask us again when we are working on Book II and we'll discuss it. Personally, I think Lycanthropy is cooler than vampirism, but that's just me! I'd rather rip someone's intestines out with my teeth than...

Vampirism or anything similar?

Probably a NO but I wont hesitate in asking - it has always been one aspect in an RPG that i enjoyed playing with, ever since Daggerfall/Morrowind. Oblivions vampire system was messed up just like every other aspect of that 'RPG', but i defiantly think the two previous games did it well.

yeh i picked this up recently for $10 in a bargain bin, it really is underrated. if you have the the willpower to get past the first 5 tedious hours of the 'hack and slash' dungeon, then you'll be pleased with Divine Divinity. Oh and also, dont go near Beyond Divinity - its a lame spin off that took...

Thats good to hear mate, I recently got in the Avernum/Geneforge series earlier this year to hold off the hype for Eschalon but one thing that got me down was the fact that each game was standalone. Dont get me wrong this is good for newcomers, but you kinda feel disappointed when you go to the sequ...

Hey I recently just joined the forums, although I have been waiting eagerly for Eschalon since about mid last year - and I personally cant wait for it, its looking mad. Two questions that I would like to ask are, how many hours approximately will the main quest take to complete - and once we complet...
