Thanks! I'm just burning them when exploring now and dropping them in sconces when I can. I've gone through 15 so far. 50 more to go... :)

You can destroy the chest and then switch it, but I haven't found that it does anything.

Re: Unbalanced

Agreed on the last part. It's hard to play as a pure rogue in my opinion. Hide in Shadows and fighting at night is your friend. Once Hide in Shadows gets higher, you can hit and not break your hide. Lots of skills though to get as a Rogue though. It is a shame that you don't get more skill points a...

Drop Torches?

I just realized torches have weight, and I'm holding 10 lbs worth. Is there anyway to drop torches?

That would make perfect sense if there was some kind of positional attack bonus, but I don't believe there is right? Since I can attack without breaking my hiding status, having 4 around me doesn't really matter. Does it?

Or am I missing something?

Re: Move Silently skill?

it comes into play when u try to move in the middle of a battle, if its sucess u'll see a "silent" on the status window. It means that every step won't be heard from any monster and won't folo u (if they don't see you, of course). Typically, I am hidden and want them to be close to me so ...

* If it is party based, please allow us to create all party members when we start. I can't stand relying on creating a party out of whatever is waiting out there. I don't mind if you have the option of doing so, but I want to craft my party from the start. * A storage area. I know right now you can ...

Move Silently skill?

How does the Move Silently skill benefit your character? With Hide in Shadows and without Move Silently, my character can effectively fight from shadows just fine. So, where does Move Silently come into play? Only when "stealing" from containers close to NPCs?

I think I went to her after I already had the dagger, so that may be why I don't remember it.

You know, I was thinking of diseases when I replied. There are saves for curses and I think priests can uncurse you, but I don't know if there is a potion that will do it. The one time I've been cursed so far, I died in combat, so I didn't have to deal with it.

I bought that dagger from a vendor when I was playing. I think the big difference is in early/mid game. I used a 1 damage dagger until level 5 or 6, then got a 3 damage and used it until level 11, and finally got the 5 damage. I'm already using a 5 damage sword at level 5 with my new character. Sinc...

I restarted my Rogue and went with swords. I have to say that the weight difference of short-bladed v.s. swords (or cleaving/bludgeoning) isn't really an issue. A few pounds isn't worth giving up more damage for. If the higher level swords weighed 20 pounds, then that would be quite different. In Bo...

It's like being poisoned only worse. There is a save, and there are cures (potions, priests).

If that is how it was designed, shouldn't turning on or off a torch take a turn? I can see the blinding thing being intentional, but right now it takes no time to do it. Here is another possible bug. Turn your torch off, walk up to a mob, turn your torch on and attack. You now have no darkness penal...
