@ Basilisk Wrangler: Are you sure it wasn't something simple like needing a new battery or maybe a stick of RAM going bad? I can sympathize with you. My power supply died right after Christmas and I was worried sick it was something serious. Well, it just doesn't boot. All I get is the gray Apple l...

What Might & Magic tribute? I played most of those games on my old Mac a long time ago.

How about slowing your Mouse's acceleration down? Do you have one of those fancy mice that are wicked fast and have a super-high DPI? If so, slow it down, or go into your control panel and reduce the acceleration of your mouse down. This is an odd problem because it had never effected me! :? I'll h...

There were some good user made mods for it, Mystery of the Abyss, for example.

Dungeon Siege dealt with the weight/encumbrance problem by letting some of your party members be actual mules! My partner, after watching me play, always calls it "the mule game" and people know what she means.

I guess that's because we GMs can do it with just a bit of thought and "common sense" involved, but programming all the variables in and coming up with workable formulas is no so easy to do!

 I hope this won't affect the system specs at all. My G4 1.25 DP running OS X 10.3.9 is probably at the lowest end that can play the game, now.

When I used to run D&D games, I was a stickler for weight and emcumbrance (I also made sure people appreciated any good stuff they found--no monty haul dungeons). So, if you found a large pile of copper pieces far from home, it really did weigh too much to be worth carrying! And equipment/suppli...

Re: For Book II

Finally, I'd like to suggest  that you keep 'dropped' treasure bags random and 're-rollable', for the sake of those of us who either like playing with treasure possibilities, or may need to boost our incomes due to bad luck with random treasure in chests. And maybe drawers, too, for those who...

Yes, a section in the rulebook explaining what potions do, plus a spell list would be nice. Also, being able to get rid of torches. But my main requests are: Choose of being female and less clicking needed to bash things and, most importantly, please make it work on Power Macs running OS X 10.3.9! A...

That's a good idea. I've been using the chests and barrels in the ruined town my character woke up in.

I find spidersilk and other components in barrels and chests sometimes. They stack and don't weigh much, so I always save them (and you can also store them in an empty chest or barrel somewhere for later).

Actually, there is evidence that the long bow killing of armored knights at Agincourt was actually a slaughter of hostages rather than killings done in battle. It seems that the French knights got got in a narrow area that was full of thick, deep mud, and surrendered, expecting to be ransomed. But t...
