Re: Bug in character creation - losing skill points!

Came across a bug while generating a new character... I don't recall seeing anyone complain about this problem, so I just thought I'd warn people about it. Was introduced with the fix for the chargen exploit. The problem is when you change class after spending skill points on the class-skill, the c...

Usually I have a rather liberal position to pirating, those who pirate a game and even more so an expensive program like Photoshop or 3DSMAX, most likely aren't potential customers in the first place, you can pirate ten games per month but most of us can't afford to buy them. So in reality there is ...

Heard about the WIP in Bethesda's Oblivion forums as an example of *real* RPGs followed progress since then by visiting the site 1 or two times a month, didn't even bother to dl the demo, screenshots convinced me a long time ago to buy the game.

Using science to further your agenda for giant, venomous wasps, is an absolute joke! You're ignoring the fact that scientifically giant insects are impossible due to the way tracheal breathing works. Uhm.... visit a museum of natural history sometimes and have a look at prehistoric insects, giant i...

I'm not missing the point. As far as I'm concerned poisonous Hive Drones makes about as much sense as poisonous badgers. Of course. Badgers aren't poisonous , neither are bees, but since nobody wanted that you die from eating a giant-bee corpse, we're talking about venomous animals here, and bees b...

pls create book II in options 2 with supporting higher resolution too . i voted option 2.. best regards. Without a 3D-engine, higher resolution just means either more detailed or even smaller tiles, the details are fine as they are, IMO and the tiles already could be a bit larger. Most current TFTs...

That wouldn't make sense... bees aren't poisonous, they just have a particular acidic compound on the stinger so that it hurts like hell when they do sting, but a sting isn't poison.

Anyone here play Ultima 8? Super Avatar Brothers may be called Pagan, but it never may be called Ultima 8, there is no such thing as an Ultima 8. This game heralded the era of RPGs-in-name-only we face today. I loved Crusader, but Pagan was an insult to the ultima series, and not even the non-jump-...

vid: Think of the way Book I handles turns . To deal with a party, we need to change over to a phased, action-point system. Not necessary, have a look at Ultima 6 Currently in Eschalon. every critter gets its turn one after the other, and the world stops when it's the player's turn again, i.e. ever...

The "X"-key added by v1.01 doesn't seem to work anymore, found nothing else. Okay, now I can reproduce it: I had shift-lock active, and the key is caps-sensitive: "x" works fine but "X" doesn't... And at the western exit of Northeastern Thaermore there is another spot ...
