Re: The air is damb and your torches are difficult to light
Unfortunately, there's a little bug with this feature. The game doesn't recognize when you go indoors (i.e. enter a cave). No more rain, but it will keep telling you that your torches are difficult to light.

Re: Curse of the Prospector
I think silverkitty's explanation is the most likely. Upon replaying, I did notice a chest. It is far enough from the Mayor that he's off the screen, but who knows. Maybe he was wandering close at the time I looted it. I didn't cast any spell that could affect him because I'm playing a Ranger, and s...

Re: List of spells
On the same note, is there any item that can't be identified with the Lore spell, or any trap that can't be destroyed with Trapkill?Randomizer wrote: No XP for lockmelt or trapkill. Also a level 10 difficulty lock can't be opened with lockmelt at level 6.

Re: Curse of the Prospector
<sigh> It must be a bug then. I guess I'll reload an old saved game and hope that I won't encounter this bug again.

Curse of the Prospector
I can't seem to complete this quest. After I killed the prospector, I came back to the mayor, but the mayor became hostile, so I couldn't talk to him to close this quest. Is this a bug, or did I do something wrong, like, perhaps, taking Wraithbiter, that caused him to be angry? Killing him didn't co...

Where to rest
Where would be a good place to rest to maximize the chance of random monsters (ideally high-exp monsters ). Is there anything I can do to improve this chance, or is it totally beyond my control?

No, "broken" is correct.BasiliskWrangler wrote: And yes, before the Grammar Harpies descend to pluck out my eyes, the word "broken" should just be "broke".

Re: Min-Maxxing Part I: Trainers / Rolling PCs
I never found a book for piercieng weapons :/ It's a bit annoying that some books are very (or at least seem to be) common while others are rare. You probably have. It's one of the most common books that show up in Eastwillow right from the beginning. But it's also one of those with the most obscur...

I don't think I have ever found the book for Repair. Can anyone tell me what the title of this book is?

Quick Travel hangs the game
I can no longer quick-travel to the Farrock Monolith (this only started happening in the last hour). Everytime I try, the game would lock up. I tried moving to a different region before attempting the quick travel; that didn't help. I also just tried v1.02. That didn't make any difference either. Qu...

Re: World map resolution too low
The downloaded zip file is 284,907 KB. The map currently is 271 KB. I seriously doubt a better map would increase the download much.

World map resolution too low
The map the comes with the game (Eschalon World Map.jpg) has resolution set too low, that when I try to zoom in to read the small names, the small blurs just become big blurs. What higher power can I appeal to to rescan this map to a more zoomable resolution?

Wow. Someone actually gave a straight answer, not a DragonLady-like cryptic remark. Thank you so much.
