Whistling Cave (probable spoiler)
Okay, I remember reading in an old post that someone had found 2 big rubies, 2 big emeralds and 1 big diamond in the cave. I have played Book 1 about a dozen times and have never found the aforementioned diamond. The rubies and emeralds are definitely there. It sort of bothers me that there is somet...

Beta testing in a couple of months - wow! That is really exciting news. As a confirmed Book 1 addict, I love hearing about anything related to Book 2. And, hearing about progress is even better yet............

Re: Done!
Wait, I read your post incorrectly. You had 9 points in Alchemy, then you added two rings at 3 points each. So, your total was 15, which gave you enough to imbue weapons at +3. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Re: Done!
I'm a little confused about some of your stats. You said you had Alchemy at level 9 (2 skill points plus 3 rings). Unless I'm mistaken rings cannot be stacked and only 2 can be worn at a time - so your Alchemy at 2 plus 3 points per ring couldn't be over 8 - could it? And Alchemy at 8 (or 9) isn't e...

Re: acorn and mysterious cavern
"Unclever title," who replied to your question about the acorn, was correct - the tree is quite obvious when you find it, and it is on the same map as Tangletree Ossuary. I was curious about the Mysterious Cavern and pulled up an old game. Yes, the cavern is partially man-made and it does ...

Re: Bug found in Owl's Roost Tavern (Aridell)
I have had something similar happen. I was in Shadowmirk talking to Erubor about saving Thaermore. He told me to feel free to take anything in the chest in his bedroom that might help the cause. I went in and opened the chest. Got a message that he had seen a crime being committed and he attacked me...

I think you have a genuine talent for story-telling. You draw the reader into your world immediately - which is not an easy thing to do. Great stuff.........

Re: Lore and unknown items
The things that are "unknown" are often things of real value. If you don't have enough points in Lore at this time, just stash those items in a barrel in Blackwater for the time being. The merchants' inventories are reset every week, so pop into Bordertown and Blackwater every 7 days and l...

While we wait patiently....
Eschalon Book 1 is a really wonderful game, and I'm waiting as patiently as possible for Book 2 to be released. I've played Book 1 so many times that I've started nicknaming the Noximanders (not literally, but just about). Anyway, I found an old post where BW had a challenge game with 5 questions re...
MYST
Has anyone tried playing MYST on their iPhone or iPod Touch yet? Apparently it takes hours to download and hogs a lot of memory. However, I just read some rave reviews...............

Re: Eschalon challenge games (spoilers)
I recently played as an Elemental mage with only Thrown Weapons and minimal Divine points. I threw three spears (which I found in a chest) at levers in the distance. So, I never used a weapon against any enemies. The only reason I wanted Thrown Weapons was for the Incinerator Oil at the end. That wo...
