I can move silently and hide in shadows but I cant really see the use of it much since there is no back stab or bonus for attacking from shadows... There is an obelisk right in front of the gate going up to level 2. Click on that when you are next to it.

Finished the game and had some spoilerish type questions. 1. Does the switch in the Blacksmith shop in Aridell do anything? 2. Is there a use for the Widget? 3. Is there some use for the Incinerator Fuel other than using it as a thrown weapon? 4. Where is the "Loneloft" quick travel spot? ...

You went through the entire game using 7 lock picks? That is insane luck. You should go buy a lottery ticket.

If I load a game, I'm Hidden in Shadows, even if I'm in the middle of the desert at noon.

Hide in Shadows skill is 15. If I move 2 squares it goes away.

Not sure what it was then, but it is at 8 now. I still break lockpicks.

Then your getting really lucky (or I was very unlucky). I've broken several lockpicks on a single lock that I had 30% chance opening.
