I just imagined how some of those artworks would work ingame as short storytelling snippets.
Like if you arrive at a location for the first time you would see such an image + some text (plus even a narrator voice?) to describe the location.

No. I emailed him to see if we could come to some kind of flat-rate agreement for images, but he didn't respond. I suspect he didn't have the time to commit to the project.

We will have more artwork in Book 2, though.
