Book II Announcement?

Many people have speculated that these new forums were to be used for the official announcement of Book II. The truth is that we just needed to update the software and give the forums fresh look. Book II is still in the early prototype/idea stage and we have nothing yet to announce. We hope to have an announcement in the next few weeks.

Im getting a bit edgy waiting on the announcement. I guess Im just worrying that it might not get made at all. It's definitely getting made right?

Announcement definately coming next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday. We are writing the Press Release now and throwing together some very early screenshots so that you can see the game running at 1024x768 with the updated GUI, and a few other new game elements that have been added already. The entire website is getting a complete "refreshment" at that time as well.

Very nice! This has reallly made my day!

The screen shots look very nice. I love the look of the new trees. They look like large oaks and really make it look like a plush forest.

I also see the bars that have been added for hunger and thirst.

I can't wait to get my hands on this one.

Do you have an estimated gameplay hours for this one? I think I heard it would be much larger than book I which I think was about 30 hours, so Im guessing it will be longer than that.

Any plans on doing more with the manual? Maybe adding more world lore to it?
