having bought Eschalon: Book 1 for windows a while ago, I received a download link for that platform.

Now that I use linux, can I somehow get that version?

Not sure if you can, I had bought (willingly ) the 2 versions as the windows one was first to come out.
But you can easily run the windows version with wine under linux so you are not obliged to buy it.

I believe, if you get in touch with BW directly (info_at_basiliskgames_dot_com), and send him the purchase information from the Windows version, he will send you a link to a download for the Linux version. That is my recollection.
