The Plague Wars were first referenced in the History of Thaermore. That is my point.

Yes, in Book II the only mention is from Hammond Burroak's journal. BUT, in Book I we have the book: History of Thaermore, that goes into more detail.

For me, the revelation was that Shina *may* have lied. While I distrusted Korren from the start, I swallowed Shina's story hook, line, and sinker. Knowing that the crystals were created here, or at least could be, makes me doubt him.

To be somewhat humble about it, I did throw out a number of possibilities in that post. One just happened to hit the mark. I wonder how BW felt about that when he saw my post. ;-)
