There's also a load of 'bugs' from this list that still need to be tackled - I'm hoping that's what's on tap (along with engine improvements for 'modding') for v1.0.3...Prismatic Maelstrom wrote:It appears nothing was changed from this list. I take it you'll be looking at it next patch?

Guys, Steam is still on version 1.0. Why do you hold it back for so long?

Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.021
As PM says, the problem is almost certainly on Steam's side. Evidently they aren't very fast to do updates for "smaller," independent games.tapio wrote:Guys, Steam is still on version 1.0. Why do you hold it back for so long?
Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.021
OK guys, I was under the impression Steam is always very fast... For instance: Xenonauts. The developer reports about updates on his forum and it's on Steam in a few hours, not months.
Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.021
Not sure where I should have posted this but it is regarding EIII, but only the Fandugan mod. Is it possible to get an e-mail when the new mod is up and ready for download? I keep coming back every day just for that tidbit and as much as I LIKE this game, this site is the only reason I am online. The less online and more in gaming mode, the happier little apprentice I would be! And probably by now SS is tired of my questions and smarmy comments!!

I wish these forums had RSS support - then you could just subscribe to the relevant thread. Sadly, that's not the case, and justifiably way low on BW's list of priorities.
Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.021
Well, on the other hand, the forum does have the ability to "subscribe" to a topic, which'll send you an email when the relevant thread's been updated. The link's down at the bottom of the page (in a not-entirely-obvious spot). You might have to tweak some forum settings to get it right, but it works great for me.SpottedShroom wrote:I wish these forums had RSS support - then you could just subscribe to the relevant thread. Nope. Been working on getting the Desura version out (released today, spread the word, thanks mate) and getting in the newest Indie Royale bundle. Oh, and there was a national holiday here in the US, so short week for me.Prismatic Maelstrom wrote:Have Steam updated to the latest version yet?
I'll try to get the Steam version updated this next week.

Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.021
Now now. Let's all be the bigger person, here. It does indeed sound like the update hadn't actually been pushed to Steam yet, so in this case we probably can't blame Steam for the delay. At the same time, it had been reasonable to assume that Steam could have been the culprit here, since we've seen how they've sat on updates in the past.Prismatic Maelstrom wrote:(stuff)
