Transfer Demo game to full Game?

If you play the demo, then purchase the full game, do your characters or saved games transfer over to the full game? Or do you need to start all over?

BTW, well done and thank you for such an impressive accomplishment on the Indie side. It is an inspiring one!

They transfer over, since the savegame folder is the same for both the demo and the full game..

Thank you for the quick response, the wife is ecstatic! The game is purchased, installed and no problems continuing on from her demo game.
