It is a pretty good game if you like dungeon crawls with a hack/slash style. It is for sure no Book I.

Demise is a pretty badly designed game. It's been a while since I played but I don't recall that there were very many interesting choices to make, and the game was buggy on top of that. It felt like Progress Quest with slightly more interactivity and better graphics and more bugs.

Does anyone know if the game is more stable now? Im considering giving it a shot but don't want to base assumptions on the demo.
I going to give Devil Whiskey a shot first though.

stable? in what sense? it doesn't crash, at least I've not had it crash on me in .... years?
it is sometimes a memory hog - nothing a reboot won't fix.
I've been a player off and on over the past decade - in the beta, in the alpha, on through just 30 minutes ago, when I logged off to veg out on the internet
